Description
UK King's Daughters, a 455-bed regional referral center serving Kentucky and Ohio, is offering an outstanding opportunity for a board eligible/certified hematologist/oncologist.
The incoming physician will earn generous salary guarantees, productivity bonuses and quality/customer incentives (income potential $500k to $650k+). We also provide excellent benefits, paid malpractice, and a flexible work schedule that includes seven weeks off and manageable call.
Our collegial practice features eight oncologists, supported by a team of experienced advanced providers. UK King’s Daughters serves a growing patient population of 750,000 in eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio. With a network of more than 80 ambulatory centers and practice locations, and referrals from 20 area hospitals, our oncologists enjoy a vibrant practice.
Other program highlights:
• Our Oncology Center of Excellence also features a dedicated Breast Surgeon. King’s Daughters’ medical staff includes skilled and collegial radiation oncologists, thoracic and general surgeons and interventional radiologists.
• Our Oncology Center of Excellence also includes a large infusion center, along with a dedicated lab and pharmacy.
• With 30+ years of ACOS accentuation, our full-service program features nurse navigators, research nurses, social workers, nutritionists and financial counselors.
• King’s Daughters is powered by the EPIC electronic medical records system.
Ashland is a town of about 25,000 people, located along the Ohio River. We have a clean town with minimal traffic, a beautiful and very active performing arts theater, an indoor tennis center, a large downtown park, and boutique shopping. Our Tri-State region (Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia) is renowned for safe, family-friendly communities with an excellent cost of living.
We have some of the country's finest state parks that feature golf, skiing, boating, fishing, hunting, and biking. The New River Gorge National Park, excellent ski resorts, white water rafting, rock climbing, and hiking are just two hours away in West Virginia. Our region is blessed with four seasons, all of which are relatively mild.
Located about 20 minutes from Huntington, W.Va., the home of Marshall University, Ashland is just a short drive to the metro cities in Ohio (Cincinnati and Columbus) and Kentucky (Lexington and Louisville).
